The evening live music on the terrace added a vibrant touch to our family stay. Access to our room from the conveniently located parking made everything much easier for us seniors.

private bathroom, direct access from carpark, quick response to maintenance issues
The upkeep demands more diligence!!! Dead bugs in the carpets, dirty mirrors, and clogged sinks cannot be overlooked!!! The lack of attention to cleanliness throughout the hotel is disappointing!!!

The service was exceptional, with staff eager to assist, contributing to a lively atmosphere when England won. Cleanliness was impressive both indoors and outdoors, complemented by well-maintained gardens. Unfortunately, the room had issues, with poor lighting and a problematic heating system that detracted from the experience.

I loved the freshly renovated room with a private bathroom, making my stay super comfortable! The extensive gardens provided such a peaceful space for relaxation, and I couldn't resist enjoying a pint in the lively beer garden. The staff was absolutely delightful, attending to every request with a smile and even helping with a spider situation in my room!

The place has plenty of parking space, great for unloading and loading after a long journey. The gardens outside offer nice breathing room, even if they aren't well-maintained, there's still some charm to enjoy a drink amongst the greenery.
On arrival, we faced a long wait due to no one being at the reception desk, and getting our room key was a hassle after being directed back to the bar. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. spiders lurked in corners, and the bed was unwelcoming due to dirt and hair. Our room’s shower fluctuated unpredictably between hot and cold, and when we went to dinner before closing, the pub was dark and closed early, leaving us with no options for food or drinks. Lastly, the noise from the nearby traffic made sleeping difficult, especially with no soundproofing against the late-night bustle.

The location near Stonehenge made it easy to explore. The garden area is lovely, perfect for relaxing with a drink. The staff were friendly and seemed eager to help. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the pub itself. the room had quite a few issues. There was a dead spider in the drawer, which made me worry about overall cleanliness. I couldn't find the TV remote, and that was a disappointment. The shower had bottles of half-used gel, and the room could have used a thorough clean. I also missed having dinner at the pub because the menu I wanted was unavailable and they closed early. With the busy road outside, it got noisy at night, especially with the window open. The room felt cramped and cold, and I didn’t sleep well because the bedding wasn’t clean. it had potential but there were too many letdowns.

The layout of the pub area provides a vibrant social atmosphere, perfect for winding down after a long day. I appreciated the convenience of having a bar right downstairs to grab a drink.
Upon arrival, I waited about five minutes at reception, which felt a bit off for a place like this. There was no TV remote in the room, and I found overlooked details like a dead spider in a drawer and used shower gel bottles in the shower cubicle. The bathroom had a rather unpleasant surprise with a creature on the wall, and the cleanliness could use a proper second look. Breakfast choices didn't include the meal I wanted, and when I ordered tea, they brought coffee instead, which was a slight mix-up. Loud traffic sounds crept in through the open window at night, although closing it did help.
